I was alone for four years after Patrick died..and it was terrible. After Frank died, my second husband, I was only alone for a year and a half..and then remarried once again. I do not like being alone but I got used to it. I remarried the first time because I didn't want to go the rest of my life alone..and also the third time. I pray every day that I do not lose Howard. He is the gentlest man I've ever met. A wonderful companion to go through the rest of my older years with. <br />It's terrible to be lonesome. Yes..we should be so grateful.. :)<br />Not only that, but we have things we LOVE to do. Hobbys...all sorts of things. I don't play the piano well..but I LOVE playing. I cannot walk past it without sitting down and playing some old tune from long ago...and far away.
