Saturday Howdy

Good Day to ya.  Come and sit with me and enjoy the beautiful  day.  Sunny Florida was a wee bit chilly this morning.  Had to turn the heat on for awhile.  The birds are singing so hopefully will be a beautiful day. 
Not much news here so just wishing you a   safe, warm fun day.

MONDAY

Good Monday to you.  I hope you are having a great day.  I am resting the ole body today as it is telling me to give it a break.  Lol.  I am reading another book , A Amish story.  I really enjoy reading these books and see how they live and make do with what they have.  They don't need or do fancy just very simple and plain people.  You haver to admire their ways.  Very hard working people and always helping others. 

I hope you are having some good weather as it sure is a nice day here in sunny Florida.   

HELLO SATURDAY

So. how are ya today?  Such a beautiful day here in Florida.; I thought maybe I might go look at a car I have been thinking about but after seeing the price I told myself "NO WAY"  Nothing wrong with the one I have.  I get the notions every now and then.  Lol.
Sure hope you are having a good day.  I think I will just be lazy and read for awhile.  I need to get out and rake some but I said to myself, "self, you don't want to do that"  So off I go to read my Amish novel.  Have a wonderful day.

FRIDAY IN CHILLY FLORIDA

Hello, it has been a busy day for me as with getting dinner ready, doing laundry, folding and putting away, I am pooped.  Rather chilly here today and the winds are strong.  So what happened to Spring?  I thought I would began the Springcleaning but think I will wait until I can open the windows and doors.  Don't you love the nice breeze and the airing out after a long winter of being closed up.

IS IT APRIL?

Yep, April showers brings May flowers.  Showers, we are sure getting here in sunny Florida.  I do believe that Spring is really here as all the trees and flowers are full bloom.  So beautiful.  Not much on the home front today so will say

THURSDAY HELLO

NO BAKE - Cream Cheese, Coconut, Snowball's Recipe

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened.
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, well drained.
1 cup choppe...d pecans
3 cups flaked coconut.

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and pineapple until combined then fold in the pecans. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Take out of refrigerator and roll into 1-inch balls; then roll the balls in the coconut. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

 

Goodness, doesn't this look good?  This is on my to-do list again today.  So yummie.
