A GET WELL REMEDY

MAGGIE’S COUGH REMEDY
¼ teaspoon Cayenne
¼ teaspoon Ginger
1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar (an organic one, like Bragg’s, is preferred.)
2 Tablespoon Water
1 Tablespoon Honey (use a locally produced raw honey, if possible.)
Dissolve cayenne and ginger in cider vinegar and water. Add honey and shake well. Take 1 Tablespoon as needed for cough. Hoo-wee.
Note: this doesn’t dissolve perfectly. Always shake well before using.
If you make this in small batches as the recipe is written, there is no need to refrigerate.
If you prefer, you may refrigerate this. It keeps as long as you need it. I like to make small batches (it is so easy to mix up.) and use it up in a just a few days

HELLO SEPTEMBER

Oh me, Oh my, it isn't long away,  Fall that is.  Such a beautiful day here in the mountains of Tennessee today.  My brother and sister in law are on their way now for a visit and so much to see as the colors are beginning to chance up here.  We are high up on a plateau so things different for us.  We get it early I think.  I am so waiting on the first snow fall myself.  Love it, I get so excited you would think I was a lil girl waiting for the jolly ole fat man.  Lol.

NATIONAL CROCHET DAY

They say today is National Crochet Day.  well maybe that means I best sit down, do nothing but fly my hook and get a few projects done.  Here is one I am making now, Doily from the book called Pineapples Parade

FALL SATURDAY IN TENNESSEE

Morning, hope this find you well and safe as for me, well, can I say I need a HUBBY break.  Before this day is over I might just strangle him.  Men being sick is something else.  Oh well, Fall is in the air this morning.  They say we will drop into the 40's tonight, yip-eeeeeee. Yep, I love the cold nights and days.

Yesterday I cleaned my carpets.  Sure missed my sister-in-law as hubby got this at a yard sale, so I wanted it cleaned before I used it.  In case you are wondering where I am, well I WAS ON VACATION, he heeee so Bon did it for me.

and they say I am off in my ole age, get real, I am no dummy.  By the way, she did a great job, Thanks my sweet sister-in-law.

So how are you doing today?  I have been busy as a bee today cleaning carpets and all the other things that go along with that.  Oh my back, it is sure telling me I am getting to old for this job.  Always like a clean smelling house and everything in its place.

 

As you can tell I also am showing my age with those things called HOT Flashes.  I always heard that the golden years were awsome, well they just did not tell me what all goes along with that golden age.  Lol  Hubby says one minute you are hot then the next you are cold.  Men, if only they could be in a womans body for one month.  Now that is a good one, right girls?

Fall is in the air today, go out and enjoy it and have yourself a lovely afternoon.
