Most of these I sure remember! Those bobby pin curls were the only way we had to style our hair at one time. Or the foam rollers, remember those? Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I came upon your blog and am signing up to follow. Have a nice afternoon!
Hi Barbara! I am glad you like the tree's though they are a wee short on lights. I will add to them next year. Heavens..I am so slow getting around to everyone. Did you send me your email address? Can you give it to me once again? My old memory is slipping worse and worse. Anyway.. *sigh* yes. I remember every single one of them. Having graduated in 1954..OF course I do! But...I didn't see a couple of things. In the shoes, I didn't spot and "white bucks..or angora cuffs for our socks and angora sweaters..or those big crosses or heavy pendants that we wore with our sweaters that were all the rage in 1950. I also didn't see the poodle skirts or the peekaboo petticoats. Hazel Bishop lipstick? I nearly cried when I saw the chrome breakfast set...Pat and I had one..and I loved it!! big hugs to you, my friend. :) I hope your December is a happy and blessed one. Mona
