AS LONG AS

As long as there are homes where families meet
And pray a little prayer before they eat;
As long as there are homes where children play
And echo forth their joy in childlike way;
As long as there are homes where parents care
And teach their children often how to share;
As long as there are homes with candle glow
That sends a shining beacon o'er the snow;
As long as there are homes built fast on love;
As long as there are those who look above;
As long as there are homes who let Christ in,
Who hear Him, heed Him, hold Him
through the earth's great din---
