A GRATEFULL FRIDAY

What a way to start out the day, Nag your hubby.  I have been getting onto him saying don't do this and that.  He is to not pick up more  than 3 to  5 pounds, no pushing, pulling, tugging, lifting, wow, what a big JOB I have.   Gotta love him though.

So happy you decided to stop in today and see what I have been up to.  I received a call to make some crochet items for the Pioneer Day Fair here in Tennessee on Sept. 15th.  So with the rain this weekend I will be inside busy as a Bee with the ole crochet hook and yarn.    It is beginning to get cooler here in the mountains.  Looking forward to my first snow fall of the year.  Yip-eeee will I ever get to old to love the  beautiful white stuff that falls out of the sky.  Nope, I don't think I ever will.
You have a beautiful day, stay safe and God Bless you.

WHAT A WEEK

Yep, that is what my long past week has been, alot of STRESS,.  Hubby was taken into emergerncy room in Indiana, had to have 3 stints put in and in the intensive care for 2 days, then regular room for 3.  Doctors told me another day and he would not have been with us.  Heart is just wore out.  The pitts to get old isn't it.  We are back in Tennessee now and working on the healing process.  No driving a car for 2 weeks but driving me nuts, daily.  he heeeee.

I am getting ready to make him some Banana bread.  Maybe some Mexican cornbread also for me. Everyone have a nice day, catch ya later.

IN THE GOOD OLE DAYS

Hi, can you guess what the picture is?  Oh I can't tell you how many times I used this.   When we did the laundry, all the starch my Mom used , you sprinkled the cloths down then iron. Did you remember what it was?  Good for you, that means you was from the good ole days.
As you can see my coffee is perked on the stove.  You would not believe how wonderful the coffee taste this way.  Someone ask me the other day, if you could live a month back in the olden days would you do it?  Well, my answer was you bet I would.  Howe about you?  I can even remember we had no TV.  Now stop that, no I am not that old but old enough to remember the days of no tv's only radios.
Enjoy your afternoon, grab you a cup of coffee and sit back with all the memories you have of the good ole days.

COOL IN TENNESSEE

Doesn't this look good?  I saw in a book one day that you can take a glass of water, add any kind of fruit to it and it makes a lovely looking drink.  I added some cut up strawberries to mine and oh so yummie.  Feeling down, add a  lime
to your water and get that go juice.

Raining here today in Tennessee but the temps are wonderful.. It is 67 outside. I love Fall and looking so forward to the beautiful colors soon to take place.  I hope everyone is having a super good day.  Come back to see me soon.
