LAZY MONDAY

Well, I decided to be lazy today.  I have the just don't want to do anything feeling.  With the hubby out of town I find it very easy as everything stays in place when it is just me.  a big LOL.
Do you remember when we user to have these
I remember my mother collecting them and looking at a gift catalog to see what she could buy with the stamps.  Once she got a set of pillows.  Oh the good ole days it was.
I think we will get more rain today and seems cooler this morning here in Tennessee.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

A TENNESSEE SUNDAY

Hello from Tennessee, a nice sunny day out today.  Thinking of going to wal-mart and do some looking around.  I don't need a thing but sometimes they get different items in and I like to get ideas on crafts.  Christmas isn't to long away so need to get busy.
We had rain yesterday and was much needed as the corn is getting very dried out.  I fixed some fried corn and it was very good if I do say so myself.  Hubby really enjoyed it.
I would like to show you a picture of my family here in Tennessee

Baby Landyn is doing better but still a long way to go with his healing.  Another surgery comming up in about a week.  God will hold him in his arms that is for sure.
I wish you each a lovely and Bless day.

Mix together dissolved yeast, sugar and root beer extract in gallon jar.
Fill jar with warm water and stir until all ingredients are well combined
Seal Jar
Set in warm sun for 3 to 4 hours
Refrigerate 12-24 hours
Serve cold

I remember as a little girl my Mom making homemade rootbeer.  But, she bought rootbeer in a bottle then added water and yum it was really great. Can't find that anymore.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Yep, it's the jolly ole fat man.  This is what greets you at the door where I went to a flee market.  I do not know how you feel but flee markets, yard sales and garage sales are as high old as Wal-Marts new.  You have to really want it to buy these days.  More like a store now than a used place.  I did find this and loved it
This was all I found.
