Home Made Laundry Soap

I wanted to share with you the recipe I use for doing my clothes. I love this alot and the soap I use is called Zote and has a wonderful smell.

Homemade Laundry Soap
! bar of ivory soap or half a bar of fels naptha (grated)
1/2 cup washing soda
1/2 cup borax
disolve soap in pan with about 1 quart of water. remove from heat and add soda and borax, stir until all are disolved. Put in a large bucket add water until the bucket is about 2/3 full. Allow to set for 24 hrs...stir each time you use it. Top load washers, 1/2 cup. Front load washers about 1/4 cup. Add essential oil...about 1/2 oz. if you desire a fragrance...but it smells really clean without. There are NO suds with this soap.
